Film Reviews

Dave Chapelle's Block Party
R for language
* * * 1/2
Surprisingly this is the best "feel-good" movie I've seen in a long while. A fragmented concert film that concerns itself with Dave putting a concert together. The performances are great, the Chapelle is hillarious, and Gondry has a great eye. The film is sometimes poigniant in its pure humanism. The kind of movie America needs now.
