So yesterday, and Today, Donald Rumsfeld has brought out the Bush administration's latest spin tactic, comparing war critics to those who didn't want to get involved in stopping the Nazi's, saying that they "didn't learn from history," etc. He also said that the terrorists have srong influence in our media. I was going to break apart Rumsfeld's arguments, which are just ludacris, but instead will put one quote from the spin man whose techniques the Bush Administration has been using:

“…the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.” - Hermann Goering

Mr. Rumsfled and the neo-cons may have learned from history...but we learned the history so that it would never happen seems the Bush administration has learned the history as a template for how to take a democracy and trun it into a facist war to prevert religion into a myth to propogate the wholesale destruction of a people.
