Tomei Turned To Michaels For Stripper Help

Oscar winner Marisa Tomei studied rocker Bret Michaels' raunchy reality show Rock Of Love as part of her stripper research for new movie The Wrestler.

The actress tried pole dancing too - just to make sure she'd look authentic in her film debut as an exotic dancer.

She explains, "I had a friend who is a yoga teacher and she does a lot of pole dancing so I asked her to teach me. I went to a lot of clubs and watched to see the different styles of dancing.

"I would practice in a dance room with a bar and a mirror, like a ballet studio. I watched Rock of Love, that reality show with Bret Michaels, where he's trying to get a wife and they're all strippers. That was my closest association to the actual world of it."
That's a new one. I wonder what my devotion to Flavor of Love has prepared me to play...

Hathaway Took Dancing Scene Too Far

A naughty dancing scene in new movie Bride Wars had to be cut when Anne Hathaway took it a little too far.

The actress decided to have a little fun with her dancing partner, not realising cameras were still rolling.

She explains, "My favourite part of the scene got cut out of the movie. At the end of it I run up to my partner and I did a handstand at his feet and wrapped my legs around his head and pulled myself up and then he grabbed my butt.

"I opened my legs wide, into a V, and I said, 'F*** me!'"

I initially thought Anne Hathaway was trying to just shed the Disney image. But from casually watching her career I think she's got some issues.

From a writeup on L.Lohan (emphasis added)

The Mean Girls star has appeared in a number of flops in recent years, including 2007's Georgia Rule, and is more famous for her romance with DJ Samantha Ronson.
